Technician (Manufacturing/Kajang)

• Working location : Sungai Chua, Kajang

• 6 Working Days / Shift work

• Salary commensurate with experience (RM3000-RM4500)

Job Responsibilities
• Execute routine, planned, and emergency maintenance on field instruments and control loops.
• Configure and recalibrate transmitters for pressure, differential pressure, flow, level, and temperature.
• Maintain and repair control valves, positioners, actuators, and pneumatic equipment.
• Provide first-line support for PLC and DCS systems, including I/O verification and signal simulation.
• Conduct loop checks and maintain accurate maintenance documentation.
• Interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, and instrument datasheets.
• Identify and rectify faults in 4–20 mA loops, control circuits, and signal wiring.
• Attend breakdown calls and provide support during shift operations.
• Adhere to all site safety regulations, permit systems, and LOTO procedures

Job Requirement
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience as an instrument technician in a process or manufacturing environment.
• Diploma in Instrumentation & Control, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Demonstrated experience with control valves, transmitters, PLC/DCS systems, and analytical instruments.
• Proficiency with VFDs, I/P converters, solenoids, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, and instrument datasheets.
• Knowledge of permit-to-work systems, LOTO, and hazardous or confined space procedures.
• Willingness to work shifts and respond to breakdown calls.
• Strong team player with effective communication skills.
• Must be willing to work at Kajang Sungai Chua
