Job Scope :
• Manage autonomously assigned R&D development projects, for in-house manufactured products in existing ranges, from ideation until post launch follow up (advise on brief creation, formulate, and make sample, sensory and physical chemical analysis, regulatory verifications, ageing tests, organize production trials, CIP validation, creation technical documents, validation of labels, product certifications, etc).
• Understand product policies and ensure that they are well applied.
• Proactively participate in continuous improvement (laboratory organization, new procedures, training, enriched database, etc).
• Understand how to work with countries regulations and build and expertise in terms of compositional standards, additives, and labelling rules for the assigned countries.
• Ensure that the related databases are always up to date.
• Lead/participate autonomously in projects as assigned:
• Internal / Global R&D projects
• Internal technical projects
• Long-term analysis / research projects
• Compliance projects
• Raw materials testing
• Perform technical, scientific, regulatory and competition intelligence monitoring.
• Interact and collect necessary information within all departments
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.
• Provide assistance regarding customer enquiries and non-conformity management.
• Organize sensory training when needed.
• To perform any other job that may be assigned by the superior.

Job Requirements: -
• Degree in Food Technology, Food Science or related scientific disciplines.
• Possess 3 – 5 years working experience in similar function, preferable from similar industry.
• Experience in project management, sensory panelist and analyst.
• Analytical, innovative, proactive and organisational skills.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc).
• Knowledge of manufacturing process.
